    Cylinder protection

    SW-MOTECH manufactures this black cylinder guard to fit the BMW R 1250 GS and R 1250 R. The protectors blend seamlessly into the motorcycle's design.

    If you love your boxer engine, you'll push it (hopefully only rarely). To keep it that way, we're giving it an extra dose of protection. These custom-made protective elements integrate seamlessly into the BMW's design and protect the boxer valve covers from stone chips and falls. The protectors are easy to mount – with just three screws per side – to existing mounting points. The cylinder guard consists of a laser-cut aluminum substructure and a CNC-machined aluminum abrasion pad. It also features rubber damping on the inside.
