The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel suspension system represents the absolute pinnacle of suspension technology for your BMW R1200GS/R1250GS equipped with BMW DDC auto-leveling. This premium suspension is designed specifically for long-distance travel with heavy luggage , on all types of road surfaces, including off-road sections. The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorbers are simply swapped for the BMW DDC suspension. The existing connectors and handlebar switches are used. This allows the Touratech suspension to be integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. You can therefore continue to use all the standard presets for the various riding modes and load adjustments. The Touratech suspension adapts to your adventure. All you have to do is hit the road.
This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel suspension system is manufactured with the same precision components and parts that have proven themselves over thousands of kilometers of travel under the toughest conditions in our shock absorbers. At the heart of this suspension system is the DDA high-performance valve, developed and patented by Tractive. This allows the damping to be adjusted to any riding situation in fractions of a second. For the high stresses of long-distance travel, our shock absorbers have larger piston diameters and therefore a greater oil volume. This results in improved cooling at high damping frequencies. The shock absorber and damping system are thus more stable, and the seals are subjected to less stress.

The standard setup installed here is designed for riders up to 100 kg plus luggage. Adjustments are possible for significantly higher loads or other exceptional requirements. In such cases, we will individually adjust the shock absorber to your needs by installing a spring with a higher spring rate.
